Dr Viktor van Marrewijk DVM MRCVS

Viking Bay Vets Mobile Veterinary Surgery is the vision of Dr Viktor van Marrewijk. Viktor graduated with honours at Utrecht University, The Netherlands in 2009.

After graduating he moved to Costa Rica to work for a charity organisation in a small animal practice and running spay and neuter projects for stray dogs and cats.

When he returned from Costa Rica, he worked in a friendly small animal practice in Amsterdam before finally settling in Broadstairs in 2011.

Viktor has worked in several practices in the Thanet area both in day practice as well as weekend shifts at the emergency clinic in Canterbury.

Apart from first line practice and emergency work Viktor has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedic surgery and he is currently enrolled in a program for further certification with the Royal Veterinary College in London.
